With eight people hired every minute on LinkedIn, make sure your profile, as well as your connections, are regularly reviewed and updated for when you are ready to make the move. Be active and engage with content, join interest groups, follow individuals or companies you admire, and expand your network of connections.
- Strategically Network: Recruiters can, and should, be part of your professional network. Aside from the benefits a personal relationship with us could bring you (ie future job opportunities), we have relationships across the industry. We love to connect people, whether that’s for a specific opportunity, or just to help you broaden your network. By getting to know us (and letting us get to know you!), we can help you meet others that may help you along in your career. You should remain active in professional associations and attend events and conferences as you’re able.
- Career Clarity. Maybe you don’t actually know what you want next. You’re happy in your current position and haven’t thought about what avenues are available to you. A recruiter is a great resource to help you explore your options. We can talk about the traditional path you’re familiar with, as well as some you didn’t even know existed. Through our own personal experiences, as well as those of the candidates we’ve worked with, we can offer varied insight into what your career future could look like, and what you can do now to help you get where you want to go.
