In September 2020 Calibrate, in partnership with our UK affiliate Totum Partners, surveyed first-chair Marketing and BD leaders at 127 law firms in the US, Canada and the UK.

The goal of our 2020 Law Firm Marketing/BD Department Size Study was to benchmark Partner:Marketing/BD ratios to help our clients understand their competitive position.  We also wished to understand law firms’ responses to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as their intentions for investment in marketing technology, shared services and dedicated sales professionals.
