Lawless has spent 25 years in the professional services industry, both in legal operations and delivering services to lawyers and law firms. She has served in various leadership roles at one of the largest law firms in the world and as a corporate executive at a Fortune 500 company.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, she served as a Global HR Ventures & Acquisitions Operations and Reporting Lead.

Prior to joining Fish, she served as the Managing Director of Professional Development at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. She currently serves on the board of directors of the National Association for Law Placement and is a member of the Professional Development Consortium and the Minnesota Legal Career Professionals.
