Calibrate Delivers Compensation Analytics for Professional Development Consortium

September 14, 2021 — Calibrate has produced the third edition of a  customized compensation benchmarking tool for  members of the Professional Development Consortium (PDC).  PDC is an association of individuals who are responsible for developing and administering training and continuing professional development for lawyers and other professionals at law firms, law schools, government agencies and corporations.  Previous editions of the PDC Compensation Survey were published in 2016 and 2018.

The goal of the 2021 Compensation Survey is to provide the most accurate and up-to-date salary and bonus information for professional development teams to support decisions regarding budgets and compensation structures  The Survey increases PDC members’ understanding of the professional development employment market, helps fortify their firms in today’s aggressive hiring market and advances the important dialog between law firm leaders.

The survey was conducted and prepared independently by Calibrate. The online questionnaire was launched via email on April 12, 2021 and closed on May 15, 2021. The report contains data provided by 335 participants across the US and Canada. To the extent participation levels were sufficient to report findings, the summary report contains detailed breakdowns by position, location and firm size.

To obtain a copy of the survey results, contact PDC.
